Student Council Collects for Hurricane Victims

For two weeks in September 2005, students put donations into individual piggy banks for their grade levels.  Contributions totaled a little more than $1000. Third graders contributed the most.  The SES PTA added enough to make the total $1200.  The money was presented to a representative of Andrews Federal Credit Union. Andrews will match the amount and contribute the money to victims of the recent hurricanes in the USA.

At the skating party  on October 6,  the Student Council and PTA presented a check for $1200.  to a representative of Andrews Federal Credit Union. Andrews will match the funds to be sent to help victims of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
