To create these Mosaic Masterpieces, SES artists relied heavily on the comprehension strategy of Visualizing. Each artist "drew" a picture without using any crayons or pencils. This technique requires the artist to make a mental picture and then piece it together on paper much like putting together a puzzle without looking at the box.  There were over 100 mosaics displayed around the school from February to April 2006.  Some of the works are pictured below.
