Kids on the Block - April 4, 2006 |

This educational puppet program was performed by DoDDS teachers for
fourth grade classes. The skits are designed to teach children
about disability awareness, medical-educational differences, and social
concerns. |

the Boss of Me." It was about being bullied. |

Above: The Kids on the
Block Song. Below the puppeteers explained about the program and
had the students do some activities. They learned about what it is like
to be hearing impared by whispering a sentence from one end of a line to
the other and seeing how it changed. They also learned about using signs
and hand spelling to talk. |
