In May
and June 2007, more than 600 SES students had the
opportunity to make individual works of art out of clay.
Each piece was formed, fired, glazed, and fired again.
Since students have art only once a week, this was a
giant project lasting more than a month. Our art
teacher and her helpers spent countless
after-school hours to get the firing done. The final
projects show great imagination and talent. Thanks, Miss
O., for having the enthusiasm, energy, and confidence to
teach this unit! You rock!! |
