Reading & Science Buddies |
| Fall 2007: This second
grade class visits a kindergarten class every Friday to share
stories with them. Having reading buddies is a great way to get
younger children excited about reading. The two classes are also
"science buddies." Read more below. |

| Making Sugar Caves using
sand, sugar, rockite, and water was an exciting experiment. The
children observed the process as the rocks separated to make a
cave. Hands-on science has been fun for both classes. It is
helping them to understand their environment. |
